Recorded live for television and fronted by NZ’s own international superstar RHYS DARBY and featuring an A-List of local and international comedians. Staged in the theme of a comedians office christmas party, in front of a sold out crowd “Comedy Christmas Cracker – The Work Do” was broadcast during prime time on TV2 in late December 2011, topping the ratings.

On stage for the first time ever in NZ  Aussie comedy legend GLENN ROBBINS, most famous for his role as Kel Knight, in the smash hit TV show “Kath and Kim”. Joining Glenn was Australian great, an NZ favourite, CARL BARRON and introducing fellow Aussie, “The Unusualist”, RAYMOND CROWE, one of the world’s best contemporary magicians.

Also on the line up was kiwi epat CAL WILSON, WILSON DIXON and, heading up our local contingency, legends EWEN GILMOUR, BRENDHAN LOVEGROVE, MICHELE A’COURT, CHRIS BRAIN, SIMON MCKINNEY, JEROME CHANDRAHASEN and URZILA CARLSON.
