DUNEDIN FRINGE FESTIVAL, MARCH 2011

After success at the 2009 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and then 2010 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, “Wilson Dixon’s American Dream” went on to one of the biggest shows at the 2010 NZ International Comedy Festival with sell out season’s in both Auckland and Wellington, earning “Best Show Auckland” and the Festival’s coveted “Fred Award”, for established comedians.  Wilson then took the show on the road throughout the UK.  Then in 2011 performed at The Dunedin Fringe Festival with a sold out season.

American Dream is a show about a road trip Wilson takes to Tennessee from his home town Cripple Creek, Colorado with his dog.  Filled with hilarious stories of bizarre characters met along the way, backed up with more of his classic country tunes, American Dream is a beautifully crafted and spell binding show.
